Start Small Dream Big

Sunflower empowers our children to play an active role in the community by guiding them to develop, plan and implement a community project over the course of six months. Our teachers assist them in determining who they wish to help, and the causes they wish to support, and involve parents in their child’s community projects.

Other Community Engagements

Pink Ribbon Carnival

In partnership with the Breast Cancer Foundation, our Sunflower children and their parents participated in carnival games and made handicrafts to raise funds.
Hair For Hope

In partnership with Children’s Foundation, Sunflower hosted a Family Day carnival. Coupons were sold for the carnival activity and all proceeds were donated to the organisation. Leading by example, our director shaved her head, along with some parents who rose to the occasion.
Kidstart Programme

The KidSTART Programme by ECDA provides age-appropriate and holistic child development for children from low-income families. Sunflower helps achieve this goal by providing the children of these families school placements at a heavily subsidised rate and hosting donation drives.
